Rivers State is Obidient that Fubara is OK

Rivers State is Obidient that Fubara is OK

The momentum ahead of the upcoming primary elections is officially undeniable. Across Rivers State, a powerful shift is happening at the grassroots level as everyday citizens, driven by the desire for authentic governance, unite under a shared purpose. The movement emphasizes the necessity for citizens to cast their votes at their different units and ward levels to ensure their voices are heard.

This movement is fueled by a clear alignment of principles. Blessing Fubara’s vision for a reformed, productive, and citizen centered Rivers State directly resonates with the national ideals championed by Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso. It is a shared blueprint for transparent leadership, fiscal responsibility, and human capital development that Nigeria so urgently needs.

Crucially, this alignment includes a commitment to stability and regional equity, specifically by assuring a one-term tenure to complete the Rivers South East senatorial district share of service. This commitment is noted to be in line with the national pact championed by Peter Obi and Kwankwaso. Their identification with these core objectives underscores the critical need for this exact caliber of leadership to take root across state levels.

The path to transforming this vision into reality begins at the primary level. This is a call to action for every forward thinking resident: change does not happen from the sidelines. To secure a future built on competence and accountability, the people must come out in massive numbers to cast their votes at the primaries. Your presence and your vote are the only ways to ensure that leadership aligning with our collective aspirations takes the lead.

Keeping the Vision Alive: Dr. Mary Alile Idele Champions the "Tinubu Torch Bearers" National Inauguration

The political landscape is witnessing a powerful wave of mobilization, driven by arguably the most dynamic and dedicated APC National Woman Leader in recent memory: Dr. Mary Alile Idele. Known for her unalloyed loyalty and strategic drive, Dr. Alile is once again setting the pace by organizing a monumental national movement to anchor the future of the party and the nation.

Under her office, the special invitation has gone out to all APC women for the upcoming Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB) national inauguration.

The Theme: Continuity and Empowerment
Centered around the theme, “Women Leading Renewed Hope Agenda, National Development and Continuity,” this initiative underscores the vital role women play in stabilizing and driving Nigeria's democratic progress. The TTB support group is strategically designed to solidify grassroots backing for the administration and secure a clear path forward for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
What the Tinubu Torch Bearers Stand For:

According to the event’s blueprint, the TTB movement is driven by a clear, actionable agenda to keep the Renewed Hope vision alive:
Showcasing the Milestones: Aggressively promoting President Tinubu’s achievements and ensuring the public stays informed that "Tinubu is working."

Strengthening Democracy: Building a formidable national networking and support system that connects voters from the local wards to the national level.
Empowering the Women’s Movement: Mobilizing a massive, unified front of women across the country dedicated to sustainable national development and the continuity of the Asiwaju administration.

Dr. Mary Alile Idele continues to prove that leadership isn't just about holding a title; it’s about action, unshakeable support for her principal, and an innate ability to rally the grassroots. As the Tinubu Torch Bearers prepare for their national inauguration, the message is clear: the women of the APC are ready, structured, and leading the charge for Nigeria's future.

Aftermath of Okigwe North APC HOR Election: Comr. Ewurum Tells Hon. Onuoha to Keep to Her Words

Aftermath of Okigwe North APC HOR Election: Comr. Ewurum Tells Hon. Onuoha to Keep to Her Words

The political conversations trailing the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives primary election for Okigwe North Federal Constituency have continued to generate reactions across Imo State, as Comr. Chima Ewurum, an APC member from Onuimo Local Government Area, has called on Hon. Miriam Onuoha to remain committed to the support she earlier pledged to Hon. Uchenna Agasu after the primaries.

Ewurum made the remarks in a video made available to OtownGist while reacting to recent developments surrounding the APC primary election and the emerging disagreements over the outcome.

Hon. Miriam Onuoha, who currently represents Okigwe North Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, had earlier publicly congratulated Hon. Uchenna Agasu following the primary election and pledged support for the APC candidate.

However, following the circulation of a communiqué reportedly issued by some APC stakeholders from Isiala Mbano rejecting the outcome of the process, political discussions intensified across the constituency.

Reacting to the situation, Ewurum expressed disappointment over what he described as attempts to discredit the process that produced Agasu as candidate after earlier public declarations of support.

“How can you now renege on your words to join in this shenanigans… that the process that produced Hon. Uche Agasu is bad?” he said in the video.

He further stated that he believes Hon. Miriam Onuoha is being influenced by individuals who thrive during periods of political crisis within the party.

“I know her as a peacemaker and bridge builder,” he added, while urging her not to abandon her loyalty to the APC leadership and the position she earlier took after the primaries.

Ewurum also anchored his appeal on the principle of equity and political inclusion within Okigwe North Federal Constituency, which is made up of Isiala Mbano, Okigwe, and Onuimo Local Government Areas.

According to him, Onuimo people have supported candidates from other parts of the constituency over the years despite never producing a representative for the federal constituency.

He noted that Hon. Uchenna Agasu’s emergence has revived political hope among many people in Onuimo who previously felt excluded from representation.

“When you spoke after the primaries, hope came alive for those of us in Onuimo that had lost hope,” he stated while commending Governor Hope Uzodinma for promoting what he described as fairness, equity, and inclusiveness within the party.

The APC primary election in Okigwe North continues to attract reactions from party stakeholders and supporters across the constituency as political alignments ahead of the general elections begin to take shape.

A graduate of Obong University, Akwa Ibom State, where he won the Best Performing Artist Award in 2025, Jubet represents a new generation of artists using music to communicate pain, reality, heartbreak, struggle, reflection and survival in a deeply relatable way.

The rapid growth has been driven largely by organic audience connection, emotional relatability and massive social sharing across platforms, with listeners strongly connecting to the song’s raw honesty and reflective storytelling.

What makes Jubet’s rise stand out is not just the numbers, but the emotional relationship listeners are building with the music. Across social media, fans continue to describe “Hardest Truth” as deeply relatable, emotionally painful, honest and reflective of real-life experiences many young people silently go through.

Rather than positioning himself around luxury, hype or internet theatrics, Jubet’s music speaks directly to people navigating heartbreak, betrayal, pressure, emotional struggles and everyday realities.

As momentum around “Hardest Truth” continues to grow globally, Jubet is steadily emerging as one of the new emotionally driven voices to watch in Nigeria’s evolving music landscape.
